Disinfection cabinet is a portable cabinet equipped with ultraviolet (UV) , far-infrared and ozone sterilization. Designed to dries, sterilizes , preserves and dehumidifies tableware, towers, cloths, cosmetic and hairdressing utensils, stationary, medical instruments and Items regularly handled by patients and other items which can fit in the cabinet! It is equipped with touchscreen for ease of operation with safe operation under low temperature (<50°C) conditions.
What is Disinfection?
Disinfection means purifying a medium up to the extent that it can no longer cause infective disease when come in contact with the medium.
Ozone Disinfection Technology
Ozone (O3) is a light bluish gaseous oxygen produced by electrical discharge of a ozone generator or ultraviolet tube radiation, with an extra oxygen atom loosely bound to the oxygen molecule. Being a powerful oxidizer, it can sterilize more than 90% of the general natural bacteria and 99% of the intestinal infectious diseases. According to authoritative experts, ozone is harmless to the human body when the concentration of ozone is less than 0.2mg/m3. Ozone disinfection is conducted in an enclosed cabinet only and it could penetrate to every corners of the cabinet, thus able to disinfect the entire space effectively. As ozone has active characteristics and is unstable , it is readily converted back to oxygen, leaving no harmful residual ozone after disinfection. Ozone is therefore an environmentally friendly disinfectant. At the same time, ozone also has the functions of deodorising, keeping air fresh.
Ultraviolet (UV) Disinfection Technology
Ultraviolet (UV) light at a specific range of its wavelengths of between 200nm and 300nm, are categorized as germicidal – meaning they are capable of inactivating microorganisms, such as bacteria, viruses and protozoa. It is environmentally friendly, chemical-free and produces no known disinfection by-products, is a highly effective way to disinfect and safeguard against harmful microorganisms. Bacteria, viruses and protozoa are rendered incapable of reproducing and infecting when exposed to the germicidal wavelengths of UV light, thus achieving the purpose of disinfection and cleaning.
